Genital Propositions is an installation consisting of a an oil painting and three digital photomontages, that all seek to challenge commonly held norms about intimate human parts. The painting creates a flow of features that seek to playfully celebrate all forms of genitalia, as well as to challenge the bifurcated way in which genitalia are labelled. The digital collages suggest that varied types of genitalia ought to be seen as possibilities, not limitations, and hence seeks to reduce experiences of shame connected to varied shapes of genitalia.
