My work addresses corporeal realities and possibilities. The shapes and textures in my pieces are sourced from the materiality of our world, but I treat my observations as a platform for dreaming. I dream of new forms of existence and interaction, as well as of bodies that depart from commonly held norms of health and beauty. I like to think of my work as a challenge to prevailing forms of existence, but also as a celebration of the plurality of what already is.
